Many product lines claim to be natural. But are they really?

For those of us trying to make healthy choices, we don’t take the easy way out.
We recycle, sorting and crushing into correct bins. We’ve tossed the nasty chemical cleaners and opted instead for plant-based ones. We scour through the produce section at the grocery store, looking for that coveted “organic” label. And when it comes to beauty and skin care products, we don’t simply pluck a bottle of Jergens lotion or Cover Girl foundation from the shelves at Target or Walgreens. Instead, we trudge off to our nearest Whole Foods, Natural Grocers or similar store, reusable bag in hand, intent on purchasing healthy and chemical-free natural beauty and cosmetic products from a trusted retailer.
